By local I of course mean right here in my very own home.
2 Adults (uhmm older kids), 3 kids, 1 dog, 2 out door cats (they used to be indoor but we have discovered that Jay, for whatever reason, is allergic to these particular cats- we have had others he wasn't allergic too) So I don't really think the cats count and if we are going to count the cats we might as well count the 2 other cats we feed and the skunk who clearly still comes around because I can smell him (if you had for some reason missed the skunk incident you can click on the skunk to re read the drama) a guinea pig, oh and 2 fish ( I have a hard time counting them too).
We have a busy house so why not make it a little busier right....
Here is the latest addition to our family
His name (Mandy I am sorry I know this is your sons name but if it makes you feel better my dog growing up had the name of Hunter and my other dog is Molly . I have lot's of friends with kids named Molly)
is officially Rocco middle name yet to be decided.
yes I tied the bow around his neck before I brought him out to the kids

After 4 days of debating Brayden finally decided he liked the name Rocco because it sounds like Rock On (very important)
He wanted to name him Bowser ( Jay said the name wasn't fitting for an ankle bitter) or Luigi - yes my child is a fan of Mario.
I went and picked him out when he was first born and was super excited to suprise the kids. we have been telling the kids they can't have another dog for months. Cambryn even wanted to ask Santa for one-
Right away Cambryn decided the dog was hers. She took him with her to read, watch tv we had to ask her if we could play with him
We all love him right away except for Molly who was so stressed out she kept throwing up and hiding if the puppy got near her. ( Dad don't worry she only threw up once on the ground- and I completely cleaned and sanitised after) Molly kept trying to get in the car with us- i guess she was hoping to run away.

They are finally starting to get along and play almost all day together. Jay ( who supossedly doesn't like animals even though he is always talking about how he would love to have land and horses-- ) walks in the door and Rig and Molly are right there waiting to be picked up and get attention. Rigdon cries and Molly barks until he does. Jay does pick them up snd carry them round for a little while and now Rocco wants in on it too. It is pretty funny.
The kids have been really good about helping take care of all the animals and so far there hasn't been any complaining.
Rigdon has learned to say Rocco, Molly, Good Dog and Ahh (he says repeatedly whenever he sees a baby or any animal). If I can get him to do it on "Q"
I will record it and post it for you. It is pretty cute.
Please don't report us for animal abuse. Rigdon thinks the dog is his too. We have to monitor the Rig love to the puppy!

I love your zoo--but I have to come meet cute, fuzzy, little Rocco!
Dang! I would die if I walked in you house! Literally, I would have an asthma attack. Cute puppy though. :)
He is cute Cyndi! I glad you finally got your little ankle bitter. We still love ours!
ok,if you wanted to name him rocco after my son, beacause he is adorable and sweet and so loveable,I definately approve. But,if you think the human rocco is an ankle bitter, and named the dog rocco because of that,I definately have some training to do with the human rocco,to change his behavior.
But.seriously I don't worry much about dogs and humans having the same.I hope you didn't hesitate on saying his name on your blog in fear of my reaction. Rocco is a cute name for humans and dogs alike
Yeah... we definitely need to come over and see him. Did you sanitize all the throw-up? Kidding!!!
