Picture Day is coming. . . Ugh
Why is it on this blessed occasion that I completely stress out. I spend hours walking around my house peeking in the closets in between my "Mom chores" hoping that the perfect outfit will jump out and say "Wear me. I am the one." You know what sometimes I have that light bulb moment and know just what they will wear. Last year I bought Cambryn's outfit a month early.
So tomorrow is picture Day. No outfit, no fabulous hair plans. . . nothing. Just lots of wandering and staring in closets. . . How come this day came so fast and I am so unprepared. Maybe it is because I just got the most amazing pictures done by peekaboo photos, and we all know that school pictures (at least at our house) never make it on the mantel. Sorry kiddos it really isn't your fault. Mom thinks your cute!
I just wish my other brain's (my sister and friends) were here to help me . . .

ps I have so many more -- thanks for humouring me today IHOP ladies. To my family who is dying to get them I really wanted to frame them for Christmas BUT if you can't wait let me know. . . there are a ton that are even cuter then these!

School pictures can't compare at all, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I wouldn't even bother to order any. This is the time when I am so grateful that my kids wear uniforms to school! It makes the what to wear decision a heck of a lot easier.
Don't even TRY to make the school pictures look cute. They will never be able to compare. And I am so friggin JEALOUS at these shots!! You've got to chat with me about them.

Cute pictures!!! I didn't get to see them at IHOP (2 year old bugging table next to us). OK....I am one of those loser moms that do hang up school pictures and now after seeing your darling pictures I am seriously depressed. I guess I need to get out more and find someone to take real pictures!!!
OK - so I make them wear something reasonable and put a little extra effort into their hair - but only because of the class shot.

So cute of course. Why even worry about school photos? You already have better photos.
After photos like these, I wouldn't bother with school pictures. But whatever you did figure out, your kids will look adorable no matter what! Hard not to when they look like this! The pictures are so amazing!
Of course the school pics won't be as amazing as these ones...but they are cute in a different way. Think of it like the school pic is of the kid that the school friends see and the peekaboo ones are of the kid YOU see. No school photographer can capture the essence of your kid in the 2.5 seconds they spend with them and the pale blue backdrop.

CUTE. ps...school pictures suck, but without them how can your kids look back and see how nerdy, i mean cute, they were when they went to school? :D jk...your kids are anything but nerdy--i was referring to my own 2nd grade pictures...
