Love For Nie

I just read about this sweet family and the tragedy that has struck there family. You can read about it here This husband and wife were in a plane crash 2 Saturday's ago and miraculously survived. They have serious burns all over their bodies and are in a chemical induced coma and possibly for the next couple of months. What pushed me over the edge was knowing they had 4 small children at home. As a mom and a sister I can't imagine what this family must be going through.

Her sister Cjane has been filling everyone in. HERE When I was reading through Cjane's posts I was brought to tears. What an inspiring family.

Design mom is hosting a silent auction Thursday August 28th to help this family. I will be posting 2 things to be auctioned later on today. If you would like to participate yourself in the silent auction go here If you are not able to participate but still want to help Design Mom has a list of things that you can do including putting a link on your blog. You can also visit here it is called Nie Recovery. It is a site completely dedicated to this family on their road to recovery. Here are some details on how the silent auction will work. So come back later and check out what I will be auctioning and had on over to Design Mom to see what other people will be auctioning!

So how does this work? Simply, actually

How to bid: Bid using the comments section - you can choose to use your actual name, or "anonymous" and email me your info (cbcreations4u@gmail.com)

How much to bid: I just Bid in increments of $1 or more (I'll start at $10, the next bid could be $11, and so on)

When will this end? Bidding for my auction will end at 12 PM Pacific Time on Sunday, August 31.

Payment: There are a few methods floating out there, including a Paypal account dedicated to them, and several bank accounts dedicated to them. We can work that out at the end.

I will cover shipping of the items.

They have a long road ahead. Whether it's a prayer, a link to this post, or a bid, please do what you can.

Wow! It's a small world. I am ina book club with members of Segullah, which Stephanie's sister Jane is a part of. Stephanie took the three older kids for the time being tow of which are now going to school with my kids. Stephanie is also a daughter of a Provo City Councilwoman who Jarrod has worked with on a couple projects. Our prayers are with them.

I feel like a big loser...I just found out about it today. Totally inspiring what the blogger world is doing for this family! You are so awesome for auctioning your beautiful creations, sorry to have missed the auction. I am already planning on making a donation this week instead.
